Job Description

John A. Logan College seeks an Occupational Safety Training Coordinator to deliver workplace safety and workforce training across its service region. The role develops customized training, builds employer and community partnerships, coordinates program logistics and records, ensures regulatory compliance, and improves learning programs using participant and industry feedback.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver occupational safety and workplace training programs.
Assess employer and workforce needs and develop customized training solutions.
Provide instruction on occupational, industrial, environmental, emergency, and equipment safety topics.
Develop and maintain training materials, assessments, certifications, and instructional resources.
Build relationships with employers, labor organizations, government agencies, and community partners.
Manage training schedules, communications, evaluations, certifications, logistics, and program records.
