Oracle Fusion Functional Test Analyst

Role Tracks

·        Track A: ERP / Financials

o   Scope: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP - including invoice OCR/IDR), Expenses & P-Card, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, Supplier Portal, Projects, Grants, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash Management / Bank Reconciliation.

·        Track B: HCM / Payroll

o   Scope: Core HR, US Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning, Recruiting / Onboarding, and Employee/Retiree Self-Service.

Key Responsibilities

·        Test Scripting & Design: Author comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test scripts based on business requirements, functional designs, and Oracle Fusion configurations.

·        Execution & Lifecycle Testing: Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), regression suites, and end-to-end business process testing (e.g., Procure-to-Pay for ERP, Hire-to-Retire for HCM).

·        Payroll Parallel Testing (Track B): Execute payroll parallel runs, comparing legacy Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion output results, identifying variances, and performing detailed reconciliations.

·        Workflows & Reporting Validation: Test system approval workflows, custom security roles, and OTBI / BI Publisher operational reports.

·        Defect Management: Log, retest, and track functional defects in defect management tools; collaborate closely with functional consultants to perform root-cause analysis.

UAT & User Support: Assist client business users and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution

Nice-to-Have:

·        Hands-on testing experience on an Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration project.

·        Track A: Public sector, higher education, or Grants Accounting experience.

·        Track B: US multi-state payroll complexity or public pension/retirement reporting experience.

·        Prior exposure to automated test tools or frameworks (e.g., Opkey, Tosca, Selenium).
