Our Financial Management & Business Analysis Portfolio supports the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC); the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C); the U.S. Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM); the Defense Health Agency (DHA); and many other DoD customers.

We ensure the Army FM systems and processes are modernized and integrated to provide a complete range of financial and cost information needed for the Army to conduct business transactions, provide accountability to the public, and to support performance reporting and decision making.

We provide effective functional systems support, user technical support, training support, and governance support of the Army's modernized and deployed FM domain ERP systems (GFEBS / GFEBS-SA / GCSS-A (Finance)), ensuring technological capabilities maturation and evolution aligns with Army and FM domain goals and objectives. We are looking for a Logistics SME to support Program Executive Office (PEO) Missiles and Space, Program Director, Integrated Fires Directorate (IFD)

  • International, Foreign Military Sales in Huntsville, Alabama. The Logistics SME will support the Director of the Logistics Management Division as well as their peers and teammates in a demanding and fast-paced workplace. New strategic initiatives and logistics challenges are a matter of routine and the Logistics SME will be expected to apply their expertise to resolve issues, develop and recommend courses of action to support successful initiation, mitigation, and engagement in various scenarios. Responsibilities
  • Provide logistic and programmatic support to Air and Missile Defense Programs.
  • Provide logistical analysis and technical input across multiple projects in support of the US Government Customer.
  • Analyze, organize, plan, and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures.
  • Analyze basic contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
  • Perform technical studies to refine project requirements.
  • Conduct research and identify actions and logistical projects assigned to area of responsibility, coordinate assignment of all tasks, and monitor compliance and completion.
  • Initiate coordination between resource managers/supervisors/subordinates and ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
  • Develop improvements to complex workflows, processes, and management practices and provide logistically sound recommendations to support programmatic decisions made by senior leadership.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Team Meetings, Working Groups, and Program Reviews to represent Customer's logistics interest.
  • Collate information and provide written reports to Customer regarding salient meeting content.
  • Conduct frequent interface with senior leadership and the U.S. Government customer.
  • Support completion of administrative needs, taskings, and evaluations.
  • Organize and coordinate the planning and production of activities associated with assigned projects.
  • Serves as primary customer contact for assigned area of responsibility. Qualifications Required Qualifications
  • Possess an active DoD SECRET clearance
  • 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant DoD logistics experience
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams, re-engineer business processes, and motivate others to attain new and unfamiliar goals and objectives
  • Proven ability to assess complex problems and to synthesize assessments into a coherent position
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with senior leaders, technical personnel, military personnel, government civilians, and contractors
  • Ability to work in the Huntsville, Alabama area and support the IFD mission in person five days per week, eight hours per day. Telework is by exception based on mission requirements Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience working with or in support of the Patriot Air and Missile Defense Weapon System
  • 8+ years of experience with working DoD related Foreign Military Sales (FMS) projects
  • Master's Degree or 15+ years of relevant DoD logistics-related experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, developing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Life Cycle Logistics (Advanced) certification and/or Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certification desired
  • Minimum of four years developing, directing, and supervising Logistics processes within an Army Program Management Office
