Job Description

Role: SAP PM Consultant
Location: Jersey City, NJ - Onsite
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and support the SAP PM module based on business requirements.
  • Handle end-to-end Plant Maintenance processes including maintenance notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance.
  • Configure equipment, functional locations, task lists, maintenance plans, and maintenance items.
  • Manage maintenance orders, work centers, capacity planning, scheduling, and confirmations.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PM solutions.
  • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical/development teams.
  • Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide functional support.
  • Support data migration, master data activities, and system enhancements.
  • Prepare user documentation and conduct end-user training.
  • Work closely with business users, technical teams, and other SAP functional teams.
Integration Experience
  • SAP MM – Materials Management
  • SAP FI/CO – Finance & Controlling
  • SAP PP – Production Planning
  • SAP PS – Project System
  • Experience with integration of SAP PM with external systems is a plus.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP PM / Plant Maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and lifecycle.
  • Experience with Equipment & Functional Location management.
  • Experience with Maintenance Notifications and Maintenance Orders.
  • Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Plans.
  • Experience with task lists, work centers, scheduling, and confirmations.
  • Good understanding of SAP PM master data.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • SAP S/4HANA PM experience.
  • SAP Fiori experience.
  • SAP PM integration with MM, FI/CO, PP, or PS.
  • Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, or upgrade projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP Asset Management / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
