  • Identify workflow gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Coordinate business analysis activities with the Project Manager and communicate project requirements status, unresolved decisions, dependencies, and issues.
  • Provide business analysis support across multiple EHR initiatives, including new capabilities, system enhancements, workflow changes, and patient-facing functionality.
  • Develop executive-level reports, process maps, workflow documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and risk analyses.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, data, and compliance teams to ensure requirements align with organizational needs and project objectives.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing existing business processes and recommending opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.

What We Are Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional business analyst experience.
  • Experience conducting business analysis and requirements-gathering sessions.

  • Strong stakeholder communication, documentation, analytical, and process improvement skills.
  • Experience translating stakeholder needs into clear, testable business requirements.
  • Familiarity with requirements matrices, gap analyses, business rules, use cases, and current-state and future-state process documentation.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, including test scenario development, UAT, defect tracking, and validation of configured functionality.
  • Ability to identify process gaps, assess risks, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, IT, data, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives, track dependencies, and communicate project status and unresolved issues.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in state or federal government, public health, healthcare, or similar service-related environments.
  • A master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or a related field.
  • Training or certification in Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting EHR implementations, enhancements, workflow analysis, or user acceptance testing.
