Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can independently manage large-scale IT projects with budgets exceeding $20 million, coordinate multiple technology vendors, manage government stakeholders, and deliver complex technology implementations.

The Project Manager will lead a variety of initiatives throughout the year. Projects may include, but are not limited to, technology implementations, organizational initiatives, procurement efforts, and RFP-driven projects within both Agile and traditional project delivery environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, with demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex projects within government or other public sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead large-scale enterprise IT projects with budgets exceeding $20M.

·         Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.

·         Oversee multiple vendors, third-party providers, and implementation partners.

·         Manage COTS implementations, SaaS solutions, and system integrations.

·         Coordinate with executive stakeholders, business owners, and technical teams.

·         Drive project governance, change management, and PMO reporting.

·         Prepare executive-level project status reports and presentations.

Required Qualifications:

·         8+ years of IT Project Management experience.

·         8+ years managing projects with budgets exceeding $20M.

·         8+ years managing enterprise IT projects.

·         8+ years of vendor/third-party management experience.

·         Bachelor's degree required.

·         PMP or equivalent project management certification.

·         Experience managing COTS implementations and SaaS integrations.

·         Experience managing multiple vendors in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         State government or public-sector project experience.

·         Experience with Clarity PPM or similar portfolio management tools.

·         Previous Department of Corrections experience.

Important Requirements:

·         Candidates must currently reside in Michigan.

·         Must be available onsite in Lansing every Monday and Tuesday.
