Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce's client in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Project Manager to provide execution and coordination support to a team of four Business Advisors responsible for employee experience programs. This is not a strategic consulting or program design role. Success in this position will come from strong organization, follow-through, communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
The Employee Engagement Project Manager acts as a force multiplier for the Business Advisor team by managing project plans, meetings, reporting, logistics, communications, and operational execution, allowing Business Advisors to focus on strategy, stakeholder consultation, and program design.

Responsibilities

  • Support Business Advisors in the execution of employee recognition, engagement, leadership, and employee experience initiatives
  • Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables across multiple concurrent programs
  • Coordinate event logistics, vendor activities, communications, registrations, materials, and participant support
  • Support leadership events, summits, recognition programs, and employee engagement/experience activities
  • Coordinate vendors, logistics, budgets, invoices, and program communications
  • Maintain project documentation, SharePoint sites, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Collect program metrics, support surveys and feedback efforts, and contribute to continuous improvement recommendations
  • Serve as an operational partner to the Business Advisor team, enabling them to focus on strategy, consultation, and program design
  • Partner with Business Advisors, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects remain organized, aligned, and on schedule
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, executive presentations, and project documentation
  • Track budgets, invoices, and project expenditures
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, operations, program administration, or event management
  • 3+ years of stakeholder communication & cross-functional collaboration
  • 3+ years of experience using PowerPoint and Excel, and 2+ years of experience using MS Project
  • 2+ years of experience in event, program & vendor management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting employee engagement, recognition, employee experience, HR, learning, communications, or culture-related initiatives
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, or leadership programs
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Vendor management and budget tracking experience
Ideal candidate profile:
  • 3+ years of project management, project coordination, event management, or program administration experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep stakeholders aligned
  • Strong meeting facilitation, documentation, and action-item management skills
  • Comfortable developing PowerPoint presentations, status reports, dashboards, and executive communications
  • Experience coordinating vendors, budgets, logistics, and project deliverables
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
Experienced with:
  • Employee recognition programs
  • Employee engagement initiatives
  • Leadership meetings, conferences, or events
  • Employee experience or culture-related programs
  • Corporate event planning and logistics
  • Cross-functional project coordination
  • PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Planner, or similar project management tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
