Detailed Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Manager to lead strategic mining and technology transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of project/program management experience, strong mining industry knowledge, and expertise in managing large-scale digital transformation projects.

The candidate will drive end-to-end project execution, develop strategic roadmaps, establish business cases and KPIs, and ensure measurable business value. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to collaborate with executive leadership, business teams, and globally distributed technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead end-to-end project and program management for large-scale mining digital transformation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business objectives.

·         Develop project charters, business cases, strategic roadmaps, KPIs, and value realization plans to support mining technology transformation.

·         Drive digital transformation initiatives involving Digital Twin, IoT, AI, analytics, predictive modeling, and data strategy to improve mining operations.

·         Collaborate with executive leadership, CXOs, business stakeholders, and technology teams to establish project goals, build consensus, and maintain strong client relationships.

·         Manage multiple workstreams, including technology implementation, mining solutions development, data strategy, and organizational change management.

·         Oversee project planning, resource allocation, governance, risk management, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
