Salesforce developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, customize, and support scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce development, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and Salesforce APIs. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver high-quality enterprise Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications and solutions.
• Develop custom functionality using Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.
• Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura.
• Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, flows, approval processes, and security settings.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.
• Work with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations and customizations.
• Develop SOQL and SOSL queries and optimize database operations for performance.
• Implement Salesforce security using Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, and Organization-Wide Defaults.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
• Create and maintain unit tests and achieve required code coverage.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD deployments across Salesforce environments.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and other developers in an Agile environment.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture and solution decisions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development with significant Salesforce development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Expertise in Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.
• Strong experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong knowledge of SOQL/SOSL.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and Salesforce integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security architecture.
• Experience with Salesforce Flow, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, and Automation.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Experience with Git and Salesforce deployment/DevOps tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, testing, and deployment processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II certification.
• Salesforce Administrator certification.
• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
• Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.
• Knowledge of Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Streaming API.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
