Solution IT Inc. is looking for a Sr. Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation Consultant for one of its clients Remote

Job Title: Sr. Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation Consultant

Required Skills

Business Central Functional Configuration - Inventory, purchasing, and sales order module setup in Business Central - Native drop-shipment configuration experience - Prior experience implementing Business Central specifically for a distribution or VAR/reseller business (strongly preferred over general retail/manufacturing BC experience)
Integration Development - Business Central API (OData v4 / API v2.0) - reading and writing sales orders, purchase orders, item and vendor data - AL language development, for any custom event handling or automation beyond standard API calls - Experience consuming external vendor/supplier APIs and mapping their data to Business Central's data model - Experience with the Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM) to Business Central integration pattern, receiving quote/order data into BC - Middleware/orchestration experience (Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, or Azure Functions) - Microsoft Entra ID app registration and OAuth 2.0 authentication, including cross-tenant consent scenarios
Data Migration - Business Central native Data Migration / QuickBooks Data Migration extension experience - Chart of accounts mapping and financial data reconciliation - Experience migrating open transactions (not just static master data or closing balances) - Full master data migration experience - bank accounts, customer and vendor records, posting groups, tax setup, number series - not just the chart of accounts and GL balances. This is the piece most likely to be underestimated by a candidate who has only done partial or greenfield BC implementations rather than a true system-to-system migration.
Multi-Tenant Consolidation - Business Central native Consolidation feature, specifically the API-based (cross-tenant) import method - Experience with cross-tenant Microsoft Entra authentication and admin consent processes.
