IT Support/Phone Deployment Tech

Location: Everett, WA OR Renton, WA (Fully Onsite)

Pay Rate: $20/hr W2

Contract length: 6+ months with potential for extension and conversion

Available Shifts
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM- 1 in Everett, 1 in Renton
  • 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM- 1 in Everett, 1 in Renton
  • 3rd Shift: Overnight schedule with overlap into the 2nd shift; Monday night through Saturday morning coverage- 1 in Everett, 1 in Renton
Role Overview

This position is part of a Factory Support Team, providing IT support for hardware in a factory setting. The role involves significant physical activity, including extensive walking and standing for most of the shift. The primary responsibility will be providing mobile device support and deploying new devices to employees. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical support, experience training end-users on smartphone usage, and administrative skills for tasks like scheduling appointments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, deploy, and support tablets, mobile phones, and other end-user devices.
  • Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
  • Perform software troubleshooting, break/fix support, and network system troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose issues and coordinate escalations to the IT Service Center when advanced support is required.
  • Provide first-level support for mobile devices via phone, email, or IT service management tickets.
  • Assist with application installation and security settings on smartphones.
  • Work with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools for asset, update, and endpoint management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
  • 1-2 years of IT experience supporting mobile devices, tablets, and end-user technology.
  • Personal or professional hands-on experience with technology, with a preference for computer hardware or mobile devices.
  • A background working in a customer-facing environment with end-users.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical knowledge of mobile phone and PC troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Citrix, Apple iOS, Android, VPN, Edge, Firefox, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks such as calendar planning, scheduling, and email management.
Candidate Requirements
  • An associate's degree or higher in information technology, an applicable IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+), or relevant military training is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple critical priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation for initial training in Renton and subsequent work in Everett.
  • Flexibility with work hours is required. Available shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift options.
  • Must meet the physical requirements, including the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand or walk for most of the day.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in desktop support, field support, or IT help desk environments.
  • Experience with device imaging, provisioning, and deployment activities.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT service management processes.
