Sr. ServiceNow Developer - ITSM
Primary Location: Madison, WI
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sr. ServiceNow Developer – ITSM for our premier client in Madison, WI.
Education and Experience:

8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
Experience with update sets, application deployment, testing, and platform upgrades.

Knowledge and Experience:

Strong experience implementing and enhancing ServiceNow ITSM in an enterprise environment
Hands-on experience with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and integration development.
Working knowledge of CMDB concepts, configuration item relationships, and their role in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Strong understanding of ITIL service management processes.
Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency with JavaScript, server-side and client-side scripting and ServiceNow APIs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support ServiceNow ITSM capabilities, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
Develop and troubleshoot integrations with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, import sets, and transform maps.
Support CMDB data quality and relationships used by ITSM processes, collaborating with asset management and discovery teams.
Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, recommend solutions, and estimate development effort.
Troubleshoot complex platform issues, improve performance, and resolve production defects.
Build and enhance Service Catalog items, record producers, approval processes, and automated fulfillment workflows.
Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and other platform components using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.
Support testing, releases, platform upgrades, and remediation of skipped changes.
Apply platform development standards, access controls, and security practices appropriate to an insurance environment.
