Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Security Consultant to design, configure, and maintain security architecture across our Oracle Fusion Cloud environment. You will work closely with functional leads and internal audit teams to build least-privilege custom roles, manage duty and job role hierarchies, and resolve Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts

Key Responsibilities

Role Customization & Management: Design, create, and modify custom Job Roles, Abstract Roles, and Duty Roles using the Oracle Security Console.

Copy & Privilege Tuning: Copy seeded (standard) Oracle roles and tailor them by adding or removing granular Functional Security Policies and Data Security Policies to enforce least-privilege access.

Role Hierarchy & Inheritance: Manage complex role inheritances, child/parent privileges, and duty role allocations without breaking core application functionalities.

Data Security & Security Profiles: Configure data security policies, security profiles, and data roles (especially in modules like HCM and SCM) to restrict data access by business units, ledgers, or organizations.

Synchronization & Testing: Run and monitor background ESS and LDAP processes (Send LDAP processes, Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes, Import User and Role Application Security Data) to propagate role updates.

Audit & Compliance: Partner with internal/external auditors to review user access reviews, monitor Segregation of Duties (SoD) violations, and remediate risky access paths.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve user-access issues, UI visibility problems (such as missing tasks or navigation menus), and sandbox/extension privilege requirements.
