Job Description

We are seeking a Technology Consulting Practitioner (AMAG Symmetry Consultant) to join our dynamic team supporting a client in the energy sector that provides electric power services and solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), AMAG Symmetry, and SQL Server and a proven ability to lead implementations, integrations, and support for scalable, secure, and supportable access control platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for implementation, integration, and support of the enterprise access control platform.


• Collaborate with vendor teams to ensure a scalable, secure, and supportable solution.


• Oversee PACS architecture, badge management, access provisioning, alarms, readers, controllers, and field control panels.


• Support enterprise application integrations and APIs aligned to operational and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on AMAG Symmetry experience.


• 10+ years implementing, supporting, and upgrading enterprise PACS.


• Experience with PACS architecture, badge management, access provisioning, alarms, readers, controllers, and field control panels.


• Strong SQL Server experience.


• Experience with enterprise application integrations and APIs.


• NERC CIP certification.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AMAG Connect and/or AMAG Guest.


• Experience with AWS, cloud-hosted, or hybrid architectures.


• Experience with Kafka, event streaming, and messaging platforms.


• Integrations with ID management, HR systems, ServiceNow, CyberArk, SIEM platforms, Splunk, and enterprise monitoring tools.


• Utility, critical infrastructure, or NERC CIP regulated industry experience.

Additional Details:

• Must-have skills: AMAG Symmetry, 10+ years enterprise PACS, NERC CIP certification.


• Nice-to-have skills: AMAG Connect/Guest, event streaming platforms, SQL Server.


• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.


• Work setup: Onsite 100% with 3 days in office expected.


• Location: Charlotte, NC 28206. Local candidates preferred. Remote may be considered with EST 9-5 schedule.


• Travel: No travel expense provided.


• Extension: Possible based on performance.


• Interview process: Microsoft Teams video, 2-3 rounds including client interview.
