SAP Project Manager who has exp of at least 10 years of experience managing large SAP projects and should know everything starting from Conversion to Deployment and change management.

Position Summary

The SAP Project Manager will lead and coordinate the integration. SAPlandscape as part of the Wave 2 implementation program, including ACE, QZD, andNorriseal deployments. The role requires end-to-end ownership of SAP project execution across the full SAP lifecycle, from assessment and planning through design,build, testing, conversion, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and transition tosupport.

The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of SAP projectmanagement experience managing large-scale global SAP transformation andintegration projects. This individual will collaborate closely with businessstakeholders, functional and technical teams, integration partners, andleadership teams across CLIENT to ensure successful delivery of projectobjectives while maintaining governance, quality, timelines, risks, and budgetcontrols.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Management

• Manage end-to-end SAP integration projects within the CLIENT Integration Program.
• Lead Wave 2 implementation activities for ACE, QZD, and Norriseal apps
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to CLIENT project governance standards and methodologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP Functional, Technical, Data, Security, Infrastructure, and Change Management workstreams.
• Track project health, resource utilization, budget, schedule, and critical path activities.
• Drive issue resolution and decision-making forums.

SAP Lifecycle Management

• Manage full SAP implementation lifecycle including:
  • Discovery & Assessment
  • Fit-Gap Analysis
  • Solution Design
  • Build & Configuration
  • Data Migration & Conversion
  • Integration Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Cutover Planning
  • Deployment & Go-Live
  • Hypercare Support
  • Transition to Operations
• Ensure alignment of SAP processes with corporate standards and integration requirements.
• Support SAP deployment readiness assessments and go/no-go decisions.
• Manage conversion activities for newly integrated businesses into the CLIENT SAP environment.

Integration Management

• Develop deep understanding of  integration objectives and operational requirements.
• Coordinate business process harmonization activities across acquired entities.
• Drive integration planning, dependency management, and execution readiness.
• Facilitate alignment between SAP project teams and business stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate integration risks impacting deployment timelines.

Governance & Reporting

• Lead recurring project governance meetings and working sessions.
• Run project status meetings, steering committee updates, and leadership reviews.
• Maintain project status reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and KPI reporting.
• Develop and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
• Escalate critical issues and risks appropriately.
• Monitor project performance against agreed milestones and success criteria.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with stakeholders across CLIENT including:
  • Business Process Owners
  • Functional Leads
  • IT Leadership
  • Enterprise Architecture
  • Change Management Teams
  • Deployment Teams
  • External Vendors and Partners
• Ensure stakeholders remain informed of project progress, risks, decisions, and actions.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and alignment meetings.

Change Management & Adoption

• Partner with Organizational Change Management teams to ensure readiness for deployment.
• Support communication, training, and business readiness activities.
• Monitor user adoption and operational transition readiness.
• Drive issue resolution during deployment and hypercare phases.

Tools & Project Controls

• Maintain project schedules and deliverables in Planisware and/or other assigned project management tools.
• Ensure project data integrity, milestone tracking, resource planning, and reporting accuracy.
• Utilize project management systems to support governance, forecasting, and leadership reporting.

Required Knowledge & Skills

SAP Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP implementations and integrations.
• Understanding of SAP project lifecycle from conversion through deployment and hypercare.
• Experience with SAP data migration, cutover planning, testing, and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with SAP integration methodologies and enterprise system landscapes.

Required Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP Project Management experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale global SAP implementations and integration projects.
• Experience leading projects through all phases from assessment, conversion, cutover, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience working with mergers, acquisitions, or business integration programs preferred.
• Experience managing distributed global teams.
• Experience working in complex matrix organizations.
• PMP certification preferred.
• SAP certification preferred.
