Summary/Objectives:
Assist HR Department members with daily operational & administrative functions as directed. Participate in department projects and special assignments as requested.

Payroll Preparation

Assisting the Payroll & Benefits Manager to prepare the Bank’s semi-monthly and special payrolls, including collecting and validating payroll changes, preparing payroll worksheets, entering data into the ADP system, draft payroll funding requests, maintaining payroll reports and supporting documentation.
Upload and update employee payroll records on ADP, including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, employment status changes, paid time off policies, deductions, and other payroll-related changes.

Onboarding & Offboarding

Collect all New Hire documentation including New Hire approval form; conduct background checks, prepare personnel folder; assist with completion of paperwork, collect all forms and check for accuracy.
Prepare termination related paperwork, including Termination Checklist & ‘Termination Letter’, 401(k) tax notice, etc.

Other HR Operations

Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, attendance, and HR policies, escalating matters as appropriate.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of employee, payroll, benefits, and other sensitive information.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1 to 2 years of related human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience in using ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
Experience in using Microsoft Visio is preferred/
