We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Dental Laboratory Administrator to join our team in Crieff.
Full time, 37.5 hours.
In this role, you will serve as the backbone of our dental laboratory operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative functions and supporting our clinical and technical staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, professional communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining efficient laboratory workflows.
- Manage patient and client records, ensuring accurate data entry and proper documentation in compliance with laboratory standards
- Coordinate laboratory scheduling and appointment systems to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and restocking of laboratory supplies and materials
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing professional customer service
- Prepare and maintain administrative documentation, including work orders, invoices, and laboratory reports
- Assist in quality assurance processes by tracking and documenting laboratory procedures and outcomes
- Manage laboratory calendars and coordinate communication between clinical, technical, and administrative teams
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with relevant data protection and laboratory regulations
- Support the onboarding and training of new laboratory staff members
- Utilize office software and laboratory management systems to streamline administrative processes
- Proven administrative and office management experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with office software applications and data management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Experience working in a dental laboratory or dental healthcare environment
- Familiarity with dental management software or laboratory information systems
- Knowledge of dental terminology and laboratory procedures
- Experience with quality assurance and compliance documentation
- Proficiency with scheduling and appointment management systems
About you

A methodical and process-driven approach to work, with great attention to detail
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Willing to learn sterilisation procedures and follow all relevant health and safety protocols
Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
