IT Project Manager

Pay Range: $50/hr - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Technical Project Manager responsible for monthly software release management processes.
• Focus on code quality, execution of manual regression testing, and support automated Junit(s).
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and impacted users to coordinate environment changes.
• Act as the point person for Incident Management, including communications, resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Create technical and knowledge documentation, defining and driving new procedures.
• Participate in the on-call schedule (supporting Northern Virginia time zone) and other related management and technical duties.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in project management within the Banking, mortgage, or financial domain.
• Proficiency in Jira and ServiceNow.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Technical background with 3 years as a Technical Project Manager or Product Owner.
• 5 years of experience in maintaining Java/Python software applications.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux troubleshooting and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Jenkins for end-to-end build, test, deploy, and integration with GIT/Artifactory.
• BA in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems – non-negotiable.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI and programming in Python.
• Experience with Confluence Wiki.
• Familiarity with Client and Release Management practices.
• Ability to research and learn new methodologies and technologies to bring knowledge to the team.
