Position: Data Governance Alation Product Strategy

Detailed Job Description:

Own domain data definitions, business rules, and semantic accuracy across Gold layer assets
Serve as the authoritative voice between business stakeholders and engineering on data meaning and usage
Define and maintain data contracts, SLAs, and certified dataset criteria
Drive Medallion layer promotion standards what qualifies as Gold Platinum Partner with Catalog team
Alation on business glossary and lineage documentation
Drive C-level discussions on data product strategy, business value, and platform direction
Comfortable creating and delivering executive ready presentations hands on not delegating to support staff
