Business Analyst III(In-person needed)

Job Summary:
CLient is looking for a Business Analyst III to support Gas Engineering and Operations. The role will focus on financial analysis, capital planning, budgeting, reporting, and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data to support business and engineering decisions.
• Work with SAP and financial records to gather and analyze data.
• Support capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop financial models and perform cost, variance, risk, and investment analysis.
• Track capital expenditures, project costs, invoices, and budgets.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and financial analysis for management.
• Support rate case filings, regulatory requests, audits, and financial reporting.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Regulatory teams.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity in SAP and other financial systems.
• Participate in monthly budget review meetings and cross-functional projects.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, engineering, or operations.
• Strong SAP experience.
• Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Best Candidate: Someone with strong SAP + financial analysis + capital planning/budgeting + Excel experience, preferably with utility, energy, engineering, or gas operations experience.
