Job Description

Business Analyst 2
Primary Location: Columbus, OH
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Business Analyst 2 for our premier client in Columbus, OH.
Knowledge and Skills:

knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
Exposure to Azure DevOps for backlog management and traceability.
Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role 5
Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements elicitation techniques, and documentation standards.
Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, and requirements management platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Validation

Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions align with business needs.
Support testing activities by creating test cases, validating functionality, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements Analysis & Documentation

Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions.
Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Process Improvement & Mentorship

Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
Mentor junior Business Analysts and share best practices.
