Job Description

Job Title: Workday Analyst
Location: Knoxville, TN, Columbia SC or Lafayette, LA or Birmingham, AL
Type: Permanent Full Time
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities
• Support payroll processing, reporting, and data analysis within a large enterprise environment
• Collaborate closely with Payroll, HR, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Technology teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate payroll execution and compliance
• Support Workday payroll administration, issue resolution, audit support, and configuration validation
• Maintain operational continuity while ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Assist in payroll cycle management, including biweekly payrolls, off-cycle payrolls, and year-end activities

Requirements
• 5+ years supporting payroll operations, HRIS systems, or Workday Payroll environments
• Hands-on experience supporting Workday Payroll and/or Workday Time Tracking
• Strong understanding of payroll operations, controls, and compliance processes
• Experience producing payroll reports, employee compensation extracts, and audit data
• Ability to troubleshoot payroll and time tracking issues within an HRIS environment
• Proficient in Excel and payroll data analysis
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail, operational controls, and process consistency
• Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, and issue remediation activities is preferred
• Exposure to large enterprise or highly regulated settings is highly desirable
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred
