SAP Senior Technical Support Engineer

The ideal candidate should have strong SAP HCM functional and technical experience, SAP ABAP development knowledge, workflow experience, and hands-on expertise with data migration tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement SAP ABAP programs and modifications within SAP HCM modules.
• Provide SAP technical and functional support, including analysis, development, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with functional analysts, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver efficient SAP solutions.
• Support SAP Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll Management.
• Create and configure Enterprise Structures, including Personnel Areas, Personnel Subareas, Employee Groups, and Employee Subgroups.
• Create and configure Organizational Plans and Organizational Structures.
• Perform data migration, data cleansing, and data updates using SAP LSMW, BDC, and Epi-Use Data SyncManager (DSM).
• Develop and maintain SAP WRICEF components (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
• Work with SAP HR Cluster Tables and implement enhancements using Dynamic Actions.
• Develop and maintain SAP workflows and troubleshoot workflow-related issues.
• Perform data extraction using SAP Ad Hoc Query, Report Painter, and SAP Tables.
• Support SAP Portal technology and SAP Fiori-based applications.
• Research, evaluate, and implement SAP OSS Notes, updates, and software fixes.
• Perform unit testing, develop test scripts, and document testing activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, support logs, process documentation, and development specifications.
• Assist functional teams with technical guidance and solution design.
• Support SAP SuccessFactors applications, including Learning Management, Performance and Goals Management, and Succession and Development.
• Provide after-hours SAP production support when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. SAP HCM Functional Experience: 4+ years of professional experience working with SAP HCM functional modules.
2. SAP HCM Knowledge: Strong understanding of Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll.
3. SAP Portal Technology: Understanding of SAP Enterprise Portal technology.
4. SAP SuccessFactors: Functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules.
5. SAP Workflow: Minimum 1+ year of SAP Workflow experience.
6. SAP Data Migration: Experience with LSMW, BDC, Session Method, and Call Transaction.
7. SAP Technical Knowledge: Experience with ABAP development, enhancements, debugging, and testing.
8. SAP Mail Services: Knowledge of SAP Mail Services through Standard API.
9. ERP Knowledge: Understanding of enterprise-level applications and ERP systems.
10. Accounting Knowledge: General understanding of accounting processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three full life-cycle SAP project implementations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HCM implementation, migration, and support projects.
• Experience working with SAP WRICEF development components.
• Experience with legacy ERP data migration into SAP environments.
• Knowledge of Epi-Use Data SyncManager (DSM).
• Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
