IT Support Tech

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a strong IT support specialist to support a team local to the downtown Columbia, SC area. This is 100% onsite position offering ample opportunities to move into a long-term team and growth opportunities. 

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing end-user support with desktop and local network hardware, desktop softwares, and AV equipment. 

Duties:

• Provide end-user support, diagnosing and analyzing end-user desktop equipment as well as peripheral devices. Additionally, supporting desktop softwares including MS 365.
• Administer end-user accounts and support access provisioning using Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot and provide administration over MS 365.
• Provide LAN administration and support for new equipment set ups, ensuring connectivity.
• Support conference and meeting rooms set-ups, providing AV equipment set up and refreshes. 
• Update inventory logs and identify needed assets to complete on-going work efforts. 
• Document work efforts in ticketing system, escalating issues as needed and building knowledge base articles to support future requests. 

Qualifications:

• Hands- on desk side support experience with desktops, laptops, and printers
• MS 365 support
• AV knowledge and equipment
