Kforce has a client that is seeking a Production Support Analyst in Springfield, MA.

Summary

Our client is seeking a Production Support Analyst to support critical business applications, databases, integrations, and production systems. This role is responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting incidents, automating operational processes, executing testing activities, and driving issues through resolution. The ideal candidate has strong SQL and PowerShell skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience supporting production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support production applications, databases, and integrations
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, server, and system issues
• Write and execute SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and issue resolution
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions
• Execute scripts against servers to compile data and support operational needs
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Support testing efforts, including test execution and validation activities
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, vendors, and business teams
• Document incidents, processes, and technical solutions
• Participate in on-call support as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of Production/Application Support experience
• Strong SQL experience, including advanced querying, troubleshooting, and modifying existing queries or stored procedures
• Strong PowerShell scripting experience
• Experience running scripts against servers for reporting, automation, or operational support
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
• Experience troubleshooting databases, system integrations, batch processes, and data interfaces
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve issues
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting ERP, merchandising, inventory, ordering, retail, or supply chain applications
• Automation and process improvement experience
• API troubleshooting or integration experience
• Experience with testing execution and system validation cycles
• Exposure to POS systems
• Exposure to cloud-based applications and integrations
• Familiarity with Postman, RabbitMQ, or similar tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
