The Role

• Lead a team of 40+ testers supporting a large-scale, multi-tier application for a major health benefit exchange.
• Drive the organizational shift from manual testing to a scalable, automation-first practice.
• Ensure the delivery of multiple parallel releases on schedule with minimal defects, balancing priorities and dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management, Development, Requirements, and Operations teams to unblock testing and maintain schedules.
• Mentor, motivate, and manage performance of team members, supporting their growth and career paths.
• Act as a liaison between the Testing team, peer organizations, and business stakeholders to foster clear communication and drive value.

What You'll Need

• 8+ years of experience in government or healthcare consulting, or closely related domains.
• 8+ years managing testing teams of 30+ staff for large-scale eligibility systems or equivalent.
• Technical familiarity with large-scale, multi-tier, service-oriented applications.
• Proven experience managing teams and documenting testing plans, execution, and results.
• Deep knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience leading the implementation of automation test frameworks.
