Survey Department Director

This Survey Department Director opportunity blends department management, quality oversight, and business growth in a results-focused culture. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Survey Department Director position include: PLS with demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to grow the survey business.

Ability to improve standard operating procedures and strengthen QA/QC processes. Oversee both field and office operations, including field audits and project checks. Provide technical guidance and add PLS capacity to support a busy existing license holder. Build client relationships and pursue opportunities to expand the local survey practice. Coordinate with engineering, water resources, conservation, and planning teams. Support effective use of survey equipment and technology, including Trimble and Autodesk Civil 3D.

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
