Job Description

Job Title: Senior AutoSys Platform Engineer / Administrator

Experience: 10+ Years
Location: Remote / Irvine, CA
Duration: Long-Term

Key Skills & Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on AutoSys Administration

  • AutoSys installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting

  • AutoSys Application Server, Scheduler/Event Processor, Agents, Database & Client Utilities

  • Strong knowledge of JIL, Calendars, Global Variables, Job Dependencies, Conditions & Batch Cycles

  • Production job scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and workflow automation

  • AutoSys agent installation, configuration, connectivity, and troubleshooting

  • AWS / EC2 experience

  • Kubernetes / EKS experience supporting AutoSys workloads

  • Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting

  • HA, failover, disaster recovery, and recovery procedures

  • Troubleshooting scheduler, database, network, authentication, and application issues

  • Security, access management, credentials, certificates, and service accounts

  • Monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and platform health checks

  • Shell scripting; Python/PowerShell is a plus

  • CI/CD, DevOps/SRE exposure

  • Strong production support, incident management, RCA, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise IT experience

  • Proven hands-on AutoSys platform administration experience

  • Experience supporting production enterprise scheduling environments

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work with development, infrastructure, operations, and business teams

  • Experience in cloud and containerized production environments preferred
