Role: Cloud/DevOps Engineer
Location: Bellevue, WA
6+ Months Contract
Role Overview We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, automate deployments, and ensure high system reliability, performance, and security. This role focuses on automation, cloud operations, and incident management to support scalable and resilient systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain automation using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
  • Manage and support AWS infrastructure including EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
  • Monitor systems using tools like CloudWatch (alerts, dashboards)
  • Ensure high availability, uptime, and system performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and scalability
  • Implement security best practices in cloud environments
  • Reduce incident resolution time through automation and process improvements
  • Mentor team members and promote DevOps best practices
Required Skills
· Strong experience with AWS cloud services
· Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
· Scripting skills (Python preferred)
· Understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, security groups, and ACLs
· Experience with monitoring and logging tools
· Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Kafka or OpenStack
  • Exposure to Java or Ruby applications
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
  • Understanding TR-369 / TR-069 protocol.
Experience
8+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
