Google Cloud Platform Architect and DevOps Engineer 

Las Vegas, NV
6+ Months Contract
Google Cloud Platform Architect and DevOps Engineer on a backend platform team that provides shared orchestration services for a consumer mobile app and its web front ends.


•  Own the team's Google Cloud infrastructure end to end: projects, Shared VPC networking, load balancers, API gateway ingress, TLS certificates, and the Terraform that defines all of it.
•  Manage IAM and privileged access, including service account down scoping and access reviews.
•  Run the CI/CD and deployment plumbing for the team's serverless workloads.
•  Build alerting and monitoring in Cloud Monitoring and investigate production incidents at the platform layer.
•  Lead security hardening work such as API key restrictions and secret handling across environments.
•  Drive cost optimization by finding and retiring unused resources.
•  Review infrastructure pull requests and coordinate with platform, network, and security teams on cross-cutting changes.
