Deployment Network Engineer

job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Deployment Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure Managed Services team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise network and SD-WAN solutions. You will work on-site/hybrid in Houston, TX, delivering high-impact routing, switching, and data center connectivity projects.

responsibilities:

• Lead the configuration and rollout of Versa SD-WAN platforms across complex corporate networks.
• Utilize Versa Director and Versa Analytics to build, execute, and troubleshoot template-based configurations.
• Implement and support Cisco L2/L3 routing/switching and data center infrastructure (Cisco Nexus, Juniper).
• Partner with engineering leadership to drive network deployment standards and validate operational readiness.

qualifications:

University degree required.

4+ years of direct, hands-on experience deploying Versa SD-WAN solutions.

6+ years of overall network engineering experience with strong expertise in Cisco L2/L3 routing, switching, and NexJuniper data center systems.

Proven knowledge of SD-WAN controllers, template deployments, and network analytics tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with additional SD-WAN or Data Center tools such as Cisco ACI, VeloCloud, or Fortinet.

Prior domain/industry experience in managed infrastructure services.
