Job Description

Position: Business Analyst III
Location: Downtown Houston, TX
Work Model: Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Rate: $40/hr on W2 or $50/hr on C2C
Interview: Onsite interview required

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze work order and installation data to identify materials consumed during meter deployment activities.
Develop quarterly and annual material demand forecasts to support inventory planning and procurement.
Develop forecasting models, dashboards, and performance metrics to measure material readiness and deployment risks.
Create reporting frameworks to monitor inventory health and deployment readiness.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Management teams to align demand forecasts with deployment schedules.
Analyze operational data related to installations, repairs, maintenance, and field activities.
Develop reporting and analytics to measure productivity, quality, deployment performance, and operational efficiency.
Identify trends, bottlenecks, process gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for business and leadership teams.
Support data governance, reporting standards, and analytics best practices across the AMI program.
Analyze smart meter and operational data to identify anomalies, performance concerns, and operational risks.

Required / Preferred Skills

Experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Operational Analytics, Forecasting, or related areas.
Strong Supply Chain and analytics experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP, SQL, and Power BI.
Experience with inventory, material planning, procurement, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience with large datasets and operational reporting environments.
Experience with Excel and preferably Google BigQuery.
Utility, energy, asset management, field service, or AMI experience is a plus.
