About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, process improvement, and stakeholder management for complex, cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise, strong analytical rigor, and a track record of translating business needs into actionable technical and process solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for large-scale, complex projects, from discovery through implementation and post-launch support
• Partner with senior stakeholders (VP/Director level) to define business objectives, scope, and success metrics
• Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, and process mapping
• Own and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and use case documentation
• Drive gap analysis, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, QA, and UX teams to ensure requirements are technically sound and testable
• Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT cycles in Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery environments
• Mentor and provide functional guidance to junior/mid-level business analysts
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements
• Manage requirements traceability and change control throughout the project lifecycle
• Present findings, recommendations, and project status to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
• Support vendor evaluation, RFP processes, and third-party integration efforts where applicable

Required Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 4–5 years in a senior or lead BA capacity
• Proven experience managing requirements for enterprise-level, cross-functional, or multi-system projects
• Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, MS Project, and SQL
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills
• Strong data analysis skills, including experience with reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Demonstrated experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe)
• Domain expertise in [insert industry — e.g., Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Telecom]
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) or industry-specific platforms
• Exposure to test management and QA processes (test case review, UAT sign-off)
• Experience working in offshore/onshore or distributed team models
