Your new role
As our new Managing Consultant, you will be part of an ambitious, diverse, creative, and collaborative interdisciplinary team providing innovative and sustainable site solutions to an international client base.

Your key responsibilities for this role will include:
Lead the execution of key projects/programs, including site investigation and remediation programs including state and federal programs
Manage and coordinate the development and finalization of technical documents (e.g., work plans, remedial investigation and action reports, field sampling plans, QAPPs.)
Develops technical and business content and manages proposal preparation
Develop technical and project execution strategies, and successfully manage project activities related to scope, schedule, and budget
Regularly interact with existing and prospective clients and establish collaborative project teams with Engineers, Geologists and Scientists
Serve as mentor and technical reviewer to practice area personnel.

About you

While we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.
These include:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology/Hydrogeology and 8+ years of relevant experience in a consulting environment
Solid Project Management skills, with strong technical background and client relationship building capabilities
Working knowledge of local, State (e.g., NYSDEC) and federal (USEPA) agencies/regulations, and technical guidance
Experience with both conventional and innovative investigation and remediation technologies
Experience developing and implementing Remedial Investigation and Action-phase documents (regulatory and technical/contractual) including field sampling plans, QAPPs and other related components
Experience interpreting data for New York consolidated and unconsolidated geologic formations and aquifers. Technical knowledge and experience, or expertise with interpretation of borehole stratigraphy, borehole geophysical data, aquifer testing (e.g., pump and slug testing) and contaminant transport in groundwater.
40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up to date 8-hour refresher

Salary Transparency
At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,187 to $143,984 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
