🔥 Position Overview

Our client is building a centralized Data Office as part of a major AI/Data Modernization initiative. This will be the first hire on the Data Management team, making this a high-impact opportunity for a Senior Data Management Consultant.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in data governance, AI/ML, AWS, and Python, who can partner closely with business, analytics, data science, and AI/ML teams.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement data governance initiatives and frameworks.

• Manage data catalogs, metadata standards, data lineage, and data quality.

• Partner with business, analytics, data science, and AI/ML teams.

• Prepare, organize, and deliver data for data science and modeling teams.

• Build and deploy AI/ML models in AWS.

• Support AI governance and responsible data/AI practices.

• Contribute to broader data modernization and centralized Data Office initiatives.

• Ensure high levels of data quality, accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.

✅ Must-Have Skills

• Strong Python and SQL skills — Python is especially important.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML model development and deployment.

• Strong AWS experience.

• Experience implementing data governance frameworks.

• Experience with data catalog administration and data lineage.

• Ability to work directly with data science / AI/ML teams.

• Candidates should have AI/ML as a core focus area of their experience, not simply a minor component.

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills

• P&C Insurance experience preferred.

• AI/ML governance experience.

• Experience within a Chief Data Office / Data Office.

• Snowflake experience.

• Additional AWS data/analytics experience.
