Job Summary – Data Management Consultant

• Support the development and implementation of an enterprise data governance framework aligned with an AI/ML-first strategy.
• Collaborate with Data Office, IT, AI/ML teams, and business partners to drive adoption of data policies, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and enforce policies, standards, metrics, and processes for data documentation, quality, lineage, permissions, and compliance.
• Assess, update, and maintain internal data catalogs, ensuring proper ownership, certification, and lifecycle management.
• Create and implement metadata and catalog governance standards, including tagging, templates, normalization, and validation processes.
• Define and enforce asset promotion and lifecycle governance, including processes for POC, Development, and Production environments.
• Develop and deliver training and communication materials to support governance adoption and promote a data-driven culture.
• Support testing and integration of data governance tools to complement the operating model.
• Help design and implement responsible AI/ML usage controls, addressing data privacy, bias, and regulatory compliance.
• Establish and enforce lineage tracking for data traceability from source to consumption.
• Investigate and address data leakage between insurance operations and data stores.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent adoption of data governance practices and support enterprise data initiatives.
