Job Description

Acosta Group is seeking a Field Sales Representative to drive retail sales performance for leading consumer packaged goods brands. In this field-based role, you will manage a territory of retail accounts, build relationships with store leaders, and execute in-store merchandising and promotional programs. Leveraging data-driven insights, you will analyze sales results, optimize product placement, and recommend actions to grow share and revenue. Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales for assigned consumer packaged goods brands across retail accounts in your territory
  • Build strong relationships with store managers and key decision-makers to secure shelf space and promotional opportunities
  • Execute in-store merchandising, product placement, and display standards to maximize visibility and sales
  • Use data and reporting tools to analyze sales performance, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve results
  • Plan and conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with brand standards, pricing, and planograms
  • Collaborate with Acosta Group marketing, category, and client teams to support promotions and new product launches
  • Prepare and deliver territory updates, sales reports, and insights to internal leaders and client partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and negotiate placements or secondary displays to drive incremental revenue
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, store feedback, and competitive intelligence
  • Represent Acosta Group's culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork in all client and retailer interactions
