TITLE: Power BI Developer

Location / Work Arrangement: Remote

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and support a stable, secure, and high-performing Power BI reporting environment. The successful candidate will create dashboards and custom visualizations, validate complex datasets, and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver accurate reporting solutions.

The role requires advanced Power BI expertise, experience validating student loan data, and the ability to lead technical training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of advanced Power BI development experience.
  • Experience performing comprehensive student loan data validation, including forbearance data.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and complex custom visualizations.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Power BI Service reporting environments.
  • Understanding of reporting security, accessibility, access management, and performance best practices.
  • Experience developing data refresh strategies using Azure SQL Server and other data sources.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience engaging senior leadership.
  • Strong formal and informal presentation skills.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and collaborate with business and technical teams.
