About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team, covering commercial and industrial sites across West London.
This is a field-based role focused on the servicing, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair and minor quoted works of fire and security systems. You will play a key role in ensuring systems remain operational, compliant with relevant British Standards and manufacturer requirements, and continue to meet customer needs throughout their lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical and fault-finding skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs on fire and security systems, including:
- Fire Detection
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Intruder Alarms
Skills & Experience
Essential
- At least 2 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
- Experience with Fire Detection, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards, including:
- BS 5839
- BS EN 50132
- BS EN 50133
- BS EN 50131
Desirable
- Industry-recognised fire and security qualifications, such as FIA units.
- Manufacturer-specific training and experience.
- Experience working with a range of manufacturers' equipment, including:
- Advanced
- Hikvision
- Paxton
- Texecom
- Galaxy
- Orisec
