Classified Systems Administrator - Federal IT

GovCIO LLC seeks an AJOC Classified Support Engineer to deliver secure, reliable IT support for mission-critical federal environments. In this role, you will troubleshoot incidents, manage classified systems, and maintain adherence to security and compliance standards. You'll resolve tickets, escalate complex issues, and collaborate with engineers to improve system performance and reliability. Drawing on your experience with Windows/Linux, networks, and cybersecurity practices, you'll help modernize government IT while working in a fast-paced, mission-driven, and highly collaborative culture focused on innovation and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Provide classified IT and service desk support to federal users, resolving incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows and Linux systems in secure environments.
• Support classified networks, accounts, and access controls, including Active Directory and related services.
• Ensure compliance with federal security policies, STIGs, and change management processes.
• Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity, and program teams to improve reliability and security posture.
• Assist with deployments, patching, and upgrades across classified systems and applications.
• Participate in on-call or shift coverage for 24x7 mission operations as needed.
