Job title: Network Administrator

W2 Only Contract

Seeking a skilled Network Administrator to support a large-scale enterprise network migration initiative in a 100% remote environment. This role will focus on the deployment, configuration, and support of Aruba networking solutions as part of a Layer 3 infrastructure migration across multiple enterprise locations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong routing and switching expertise, hands-on experience within the Aruba ecosystem, and the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience coordinating activities across technical teams, vendors, and field technicians.

Key Responsibilities

·       Configure and deploy Aruba HPE routers for enterprise network migrations.

·       Support Layer 3 migration activities across multiple locations.

·       Coordinate installation activities during staging, implementation, and post-installation phases.

·       Partner with Network Operations, Network Engineering, Project Management, Cybersecurity teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful deployments.

·       Troubleshoot network issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.

·       Maintain network diagrams, topology documentation, configuration records, and standard operating procedures.

·       Provide weekly migration status updates, deployment tracking, and project reporting.

·       Support planned network cutovers during business and non-business hours as required.

Required Skills

·       Aruba HPE router configuration and deployment experience.

o   Aruba ecosystem experience, including:

o   AOS-CX CLI

o   Aruba Central

o   Zero-Touch Provisioning

o   Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN

o   ClearPass

·       Layer 3 routing protocols:

o   OSPF

o   BGP

o   Static Routing

o   Route Redistribution

o   Route Summarization

·       Layer 2 switching:

o   VLANs

o   802.1Q Trunking

o   Spanning Tree Protocol

o   LACP

o   Inter-VLAN Routing

·       IP addressing and subnetting, including DHCP relay and DNS considerations.

·       Experience coordinating field technicians and third-party implementation partners.

·       Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet established deployment timelines.

·       Flexibility to support evening and weekend cutovers across multiple time zones.

1.      Hands-on Aruba HPE router configuration and deployment experience.

2.      Strong Aruba ecosystem knowledge, including AOS-CX CLI, Aruba Central, Zero-Touch Provisioning, Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN, and ClearPass.

3.      Strong documentation and reporting skills, including maintaining network documentation and providing weekly migration status updates.
