Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Delivery Lead for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

The Delivery Lead is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of defined deliverables, often requiring engagement across multiple teams for a project or smaller program. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables to meet client expectations on functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery - e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for the defined deliverables
  • Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion and timeline
  • Gather and facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
  • Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor and stakeholders
  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
  • Support resource planning for delivery and execution

Requirements:
  • Primary Skill: Agile tools (Jira)
  • 7+ years previous experience managing technology projects using SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong leadership skills to lead project team to deliver the technology solution with quality, on-time, and within budget
  • Strong communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate project status, issues, and risks at all levels including key stakeholders and executives
  • Ability to identify, communicate, and drive critical path activities, dependencies, timelines, and resources
  • Previous experience managing project budget and financials to execute appropriate due diligence and financial management routines to deliver against financial commitments
  • Ability to drive Enterprise Project Standards for planning, executing, and controls and meeting project audit requirements
  • Risk management and ability to identify potential risks and escalate as needed, remove roadblocks to ensure progress
  • Ability to identify all impacted teams, applications, and engage as needed for design, development, testing through to deployment(s)
  • Ability to partner with testing teams to ensure testing timelines and deliverables are met
  • Ability to identify deployment readiness plans and documentation and ensure deployment timelines and events are coordinated with broader planned release activities and externally impacted application teams
  • Proactive in driving team to achieve commitments and results

Pay range: $52.10 - $60.10 per hour
