Job Description

Role Summary
This position supports capital projects related to process engineering and design within the pipeline and measurement industry. It is a senior-level role that involves developing project scopes, cost estimates, and overseeing the implementation of growth projects such as pipeline and meter station expansions. The role offers opportunities for scalability and professional growth within the team, working on both technical and project management aspects.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and ensure project scope, budget, and schedule adherence for pipeline and measurement projects.
  • Support project estimates by collaborating with the Commercial team and ensuring accurate scope inclusion through material and equipment takeoffs.
  • Maintain quality control standards for work products throughout project phases.
  • Interface with stakeholders including Supply Chain, Right of Way, Environmental, Operations, Measurement, Facility Planning, engineering, and construction providers to facilitate project development.
  • Collaborate with design and process engineers to develop projects compliant with engineering standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Work independently and as part of a larger team to deliver project objectives effectively.
  • Coordinate with the System Planning group to clarify and align project scope and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand engineering knowledge and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Assist with the preparation of funding requests, submittals, and procurement processes.
  • Support inspection and construction costs management for capital pipeline growth projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in pipeline, measurement, or a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to manage projects in pipeline operations, engineering, or construction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in engineering, operations, and project management practices.
  • Skilled technical writer with experience in project documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Relevant engineering, operations, or project management background.

Publishing Pay Range: $80.00 - $85.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
