Sr. Project Manager

Knoxville, TN | Project Manager | Contract

We are actively recruiting a Project Manager for our client in Knoxville, TN. This is a contract opportunity that will require onsite work 2 days per week in Knoxville. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project leader to drive complex initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver large-scale projects in a dynamic environment. Must have 5+ years of project management experience, experience delivering complex projects, and strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Due to client request, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience
• Proven track record delivering large, complex projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Strong facilitation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction while managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• IT project management experience
• Higher education experience
• PMP certification
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification
• Experience leading software implementation, infrastructure, integration, or other enterprise technology projects
• Experience working with vendors and external partners
