AWS Cloud Sales Manager (Individual Contributor)

Location: Remote United States (travel required for client meetings and industry events)
Employment Type: Fulltime

About the Role

Onwardpath is seeking a Cloud Solutions Sales Manager with proven experience selling AWS cloud solutions to Media & Entertainment clients.

This is a quota-carrying, contract-to-hire role responsible for driving new business, managing the full sales cycle, and helping M&E organizations modernize and scale their cloud environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Own and execute sales strategy within the Media & Entertainment vertical

- Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution design, negotiation, and close

- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Engineering, Digital Media leaders)

- Identify AWS cloud opportunities across content production, post-production, streaming, storage, and analytics

- Partner with Solutions Architects to deliver business-aligned AWS solutions

- Present value propositions, ROI, and technical overviews to clients

- Maintain pipeline, forecasting, and reporting through CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)

- Stay current on cloud trends and competitive platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

 

Qualifications

- 3- years of B2B sales experience, with a strong focus on cloud solution

- Proven experience selling to Media & Entertainment customers

- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud adoption models

- Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying, mid-market sales role

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

- Bachelor s degree required; MBA preferred

 

Preferred Experience

- AWS partner or co-sell experience

- Familiarity with subscription, consumption-based, or managed services sales models

 

Compensation & Benefit

- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
