Guided Munitions Mid-Level Embedded Software Engineer | Huntsville, AL, United States | Hybrid | $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 We're hiring on behalf of a globally recognized technology leader that is dedicated to making the world a safer place by supporting critical defense missions. The Role • Develop innovative software frameworks for tactical strike, sensors, CUAS, and UAS solutions. • Design, implement, and integrate software components for airborne systems, utilizing embedded software architecture principles. • Collaborate on conceptual design and architectural design across the full software stack. • Utilize DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for software development and deployment. • Develop software tools, harnesses, and infrastructures to support integrated solutions. • Engage in frequent direct communication with customers, end-users, and internal stakeholders. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. • 4-8 years of relevant technical experience in software development. • Proven track record of implementing software according to high-quality development principles. • Strong competency in C, C++, Java, or Python programming languages. • Working knowledge of inter-process communication, multithreaded programming, and memory management. • Experience writing unit and integration tests with unit test frameworks. • Must possess the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, requiring US Citizenship.
