Job Description

Barringer Construction, a leader in innovative software solutions, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support delivery of complex IT projects. In this role, you'll assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and coordinating software implementation and development initiatives for enterprise clients. Responsibilities include tracking timelines, budgets, and risks; preparing project documentation; facilitating stand-ups and stakeholder meetings; and coordinating cross-functional teams. You'll help manage vendors, support quality assurance, and ensure deliverables meet requirements, while contributing to continuous improvement and learning modern project tools and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers in planning and executing IT software projects
  • Coordinate schedules, resources, and deliverables across cross-functional teams
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks, escalating issues as needed
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates
  • Facilitate stand-ups, stakeholder meetings, and communication among teams
  • Assist with requirements tracking and alignment to business objectives
  • Support vendor coordination and third-party software integration activities
  • Contribute to quality assurance efforts and ensure deliverables meet standards
