Senior Cloud Solutions Architect - Public Sector (AWS)

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Delivery Consultant to lead end-to-end delivery of emerging technology solutions for public sector customers. In this role, you will design and implement secure, scalable architectures on AWS, guide cloud adoption and modernization, and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping roadmaps, defining delivery standards, and mentoring consultants in a customer-obsessed, data-driven culture. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of emerging technology solutions for public sector customers on AWSPartner with architects and engineers to design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures
• Drive customer discovery, requirements gathering, and solution roadmapping
• Act as a trusted advisor on cloud adoption, modernization, and migration best practices
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and manage delivery timelines and risks
• Define delivery methodologies, standards, and reusable assets for Pro
• Serve engagements
• Provide technical leadership, code and design reviews, and hands-on implementation when needed
• Mentor consultants and engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with sales and account teams to shape statements of work and delivery approaches
• Document solutions, create customer-facing artifacts, and contribute to AWS best practices
