Job Description

**Must have active Top Secret/SCI

This position supports the customer's use of ServiceNow to automate the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle and Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM) managing system authorization packages, security control assessment, and ongoing compliance monitoring.

Focus-area experience that will stand out:

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CAM and/or IRM/GRC applied to federal RMF processes
  • Working knowledge of NIST RMF (SP 800-37) and NIST SP 800-53 security controls
  • Experience supporting ATO packages, control assessments, POA&M tracking, and continuous monitoring
What You Will Do
  • Support CSM, ITSM, HRSD, and ITOM ServiceNow applications.
  • Maintain the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform across production and non-production environments.
  • Perform application maintenance, including performance monitoring and error identification and remediation.
  • Manage key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Manage ServiceNow instance security: user/group access, administration, and access control lists.
  • Initiate health scans and track the remediation of findings.
  • Develop automation scripts for efficient deployment and operations of ServiceNow using a variety of scripting and programming languages.
  • Use good coding practices to ensure reliable, durable code.
  • Understand customer critical business issues, requirements, and outcomes.
  • Draft solutions (Design/Build/Manage) defining scope, timelines, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Incorporate ServiceNow best practices and accelerators.
  • Lead technical aspects of the ServiceNow implementation.
  • Provide technical guidance during workshops and assist in the creation and refinement of stories.
  • If required, configure the ServiceNow platform during sprints while sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Design and communicate a technical architecture blueprint based on capability and process implementation roadmaps aligned to desired business outcomes.
  • Analyze and translate business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve complex business objectives.
  • Engage with the customer's Enterprise Architects to position ServiceNow as the digital transformation platform standard, integrated with the customer's core applications.
  • Facilitate workshops or meetings to gather requirements, present and validate solutions, and test the interpretation of the client's needs.
  • Work with workflows in two or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, CSM, HR, ITOM, SecOps).
  • Drive process optimization, efficiencies, and productivity using automation.
  • Act as a mentor to support less experienced colleagues.
  • Serve as an active contributor of leading practices, standards, and thought leadership related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Contribute to the development of opportunities and provide input to grow the business.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution (preferably in Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering).
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, in a technical domain.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in system administration, particularly in a service desk environment.
  • Implementation and integration experience with ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, SecOps, ITOM, Discovery, or App Engine.
  • Evaluate and approve key technical specifications to ensure adherence to out-of-the-box functionality, upgrade compatibility, security standards, and client governance policies.
  • Lead Technical Review Boards (TRBs) and direct deployment management, including reviewing update sets, assessing release readiness, and authorizing production deployments.
  • Evaluate Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Integrations, and Flow Designer implementations for performance, maintainability, and security risks.
  • Direct architectural initiatives for multifaceted solutions, including CMDB modernization, enterprise integrations, identity management systems, Employee Center migrations, and IRM/GRC implementations.
  • Good communication and soft skills to ask the customer the right questions and understand requirements from a user perspective.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and applying ITIL standards.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Certifications Required:
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Certifications Preferred (or can obtain):
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist (CAS) App Engine

Minimum two of the following:

  • CIS IRM / GRC
  • CIS HRSD
  • CIS ITSM
  • CIS SecOps

Preferred:

  • CISSP or CISM
  • ServiceNow Flow Designer Micro-Certification
  • ServiceNow IntegrationHub Micro-Certification
  • ServiceNow Presales Architect Accreditation
