Position Summary

Client is seeking a senior SAP Solution Architect with deep SAP AFS (Apparel & Footwear Solution) expertise and strong SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA experience. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the AMS team, providing architecture leadership for New Era's current SAP landscape while helping guide future S/4HANA initiatives.

The role requires both strategic architecture leadership and hands-on SAP expertise. The architect will review enhancement requests, evaluate solution designs, support complex issue resolution, and ensure alignment with New Era's long-term SAP roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

·         Provide SAP architecture leadership across ECC, AFS, and S/4HANA environments.

·         Serve as the primary architecture advisor for the AMS delivery team.

·         Review and approve solution designs, enhancements, and technical approaches.

·         Support SAP roadmap planning and future S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

·         Advise on SAP AFS-specific processes, custom developments, and best practices.

·         Guide functional and technical teams on scalable, supportable solutions.

·         Support resolution of complex production incidents and root cause analysis efforts.

·         Conduct architecture reviews to improve quality, stability, and maintainability.

·         Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and AMS resources.

·         Mentor delivery teams on SAP architecture standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

SAP Experience

·         10+ years of SAP experience with significant Solution Architect responsibilities.

·         Deep expertise in SAP AFS (Apparel & Footwear Solution).

·         Strong SAP ECC architecture and support experience.

·         Experience implementing and/or supporting SAP S/4HANA.

·         SAP integration architecture experience.

·         Experience supporting SAP AMS and enhancement-driven environments.

·         Strong understanding of custom SAP development landscapes.

Functional Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

·         Sales & Distribution (SD)

·         Materials Management (MM)

·         Finance & Controlling (FI/CO)

·         Supply Chain processes

·         SAP Integrations

·         Retail, apparel, and fashion business processes
